
Nina M. Neff has a national practice focused primarily on the National Labor Relations Act. Nina handles union organizing, collective bargaining, grievances, arbitrations, and unfair labor practices involving many powerful labor unions. Clients of all sizes in the healthcare, financial, higher education, manufacturing, energy, warehouse, freight, hospitality, and retail industries rely on Nina’s creative problem solving. She is known for her deep commitment to understanding every facet of her clients’ operations as she counsels and represents employers through all aspects of labor relations.
Nina also devotes a significant portion of her practice to reasonable accommodations under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and state and local equal employment opportunity laws. In addition, she counsels employers on a broad range of business and compliance matters, including reductions in force, worker misclassification and unemployment insurance appeals, and discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters.
Prior to joining Littler, Nina clerked for Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. Previously, Nina worked in the nonprofit sector on issues including emergency and transitional housing, domestic violence, and foster care. Nina is passionate about legal issues impacting LGBTQ+ individuals and veterans. She does pro bono work representing U.S. military service members and veterans in a variety of administrative and state court proceedings.
